SNOW on my wedding day?!?!?!?!

OMG...I just checked the weather...

They are calling for rain and snow on Friday...rain, snow and windy conditions on Saturday and then SNOW ON SUNDAY TOO!!! MY WEDDING DAY!!!

I know I can't let this bother me, but now I'm going to be nervous...I hope the weather isn't too bad...

But, even if it does snow on Sunday, that will make for some nice wedding pics!!!

Exactly! I love snow, it's beautiful!! It's not a proper winter wedding without it!

And believe me, those who love you will be there not matter what weather it is!

First of all it snowed today and they didn't predict that. Second, a little flurry would be nice I think, especailly for the pictures. Either way you will be so happy it won't matter.

Hope you have an awesome wedding day!

I wouldn't worry at all! It they started to say Blizzard with 12+ inches of snow, then I could see being concerned. But just 'snow' usually means a light dusting, if anything.

And yes - you will have Gorgeous Pictures!!!

Thanks girls!

I know I shouldn't worry...but if you knew me...I worry about EVERYTHING!!! I'm not too concerned about it anyhow...I know it's out of my control.

It would be so nice for it to snow flurry for a little while on Sunday so we can get some great pics!!!

Keep your fingers crossed for a light snow ONLY!!!!

I would have loved snow on my wedding day but FH wasn't able to honeymoon in the winter because of his job. Enjoy your day. It will be beautiful either way!

My parents had snow on their wedding day (January 13, 1968) They had a great party and have a wonderful marriage.

Consider this: If a little rain on your wedding day is considered good luck, then snow should mean wedded bliss

Wedding pictures with snow would be stunning!!!!!!

I wouldn't worry about the weather just yet.. I am a firm believer that no one can predict the weather until it happens.

We were watching the weather for our wedding and the weather people kept calling for rain for the 3 days leading up to and including our wedding day. BUT, we had the most beautiful weather - one day nicer to the next. It was so sunny on our wedding day we are squinting in a lot of our garden pics.

Try not to worry!!!!

My girlfriend got married on a snowy day. The pictures came out sooo beautiful.. I wouldn't stress about it, the weather people never have a clue anyway.

Don't worry... these weather guys are almost always wrong... and if not, then your pictures will definitely come out nice with some flurries in the background.

Just out of curiosity... did you ever check the Farmer's Almanac for your day? If so, what did it say?

Re: SNOW on my wedding day?!?!?!?!

No I never checked the Farmers Almanac...I can check this out online right?

Probably.. I'm not sure. I was just wondering if it was right or not since a lot of people say it's not right.

Sweety, stop looking at the weather, it's never right until the minute you leave. If you were worried about snow why did you pick December to get married?

Seriously though, snow will make for gorgeous pics, and I'm sure it's not going to be bad enough for you to worry!

Re: SNOW on my wedding day?!?!?!?!

This is what the almanac says online...

December 1-7: Cold, snow, then sunny

Then, on the 8th, it calls for more flurries!!!

Re: SNOW on my wedding day?!?!?!?!

We picked December because it's our favorite time of year...and our date has some significance for us since we were engaged last year on the same day.

Like I've said above, I'm not that worried about the snow...I just hope that the weather isn't too too bad...that's all.

I know you can't predict the weather...and we actually hoped that there may be some snow that day...I'm just getting a bit worried because they're calling for snow and/or flurries 4 days in a row!!!!!!!!!! And, you know how wrong these weather people can be...what if it goes the other way and there's a blizzard!!!!!!!

Everyone told me not to worry about it snowing because it was too early and I told them, oh no...because there was snow on the ground when we got engaged last year on 12/7!!!

I love the snow...and I'd welcome a little bit of it on our wedding day!

Re: SNOW on my wedding day?!?!?!?!

I hear you, Franksbride. I am worried too. It doesnt seem like it will be a big storm and it can rain any time of year.

Lets keep our fingers crossed! Its still too early to tell, right?

I don't know about you ladies but snow reminds me of such warm and fuzzy times. It is so picturesque. I would love some snow on my wedding day just as much as I would love the sun. It's just beautiful.

Enjoy, don't let mother nature put a damper on your spirit!
