Snowy Question of the Day!!!!

Snowy Question of the Day!!!!

Speaking of Ice...

1. Did you know what your ring would look like?

2. Do you REALLY like your ring?

3. Ok, here is the tricky part...if the Wedding Fairy came down from La-La Land and offered to make your ring BIGGER - but it would be less quality - WOULD YOU? Does size matter more to you or does the quality?

:)

PS - I am not a fan of teachers who have off today!

1. Did you know what your ring would look like?

I BEGGED for this type of ring (Princess with two trillons on the side) - he kept telling me he wasn't going to get me anything over 1 carat and no side stones. I said ok. Then, he surprised me!

2. Do you REALLY like your ring?

100% in love with it. But, it's a bit pointy at times! But it's worth it.

3. Ok, here is the tricky part...if the Wedding Fairy came down from La-La Land and offered to make your ring BIGGER - but it would be less quality - WOULD YOU? Does size matter more to you or does the quality?

Before I was engaged, I would have said that size matters more than quality. But now I seriously consider having a wedding band with just a few pretty and awesome 4C's...or even none at all. When I put bands on with less quality, it doesn't look as good. So my answer to this... is that NO, Wedding Fairy...Keep your Bigger diamond!

Re: Snowy Question of the Day!!!!

1. I never went ring shopping with my FH only mentioned what I liked! I tried on rings with one of my friends only.

2. I LOVE MY RING! He did such a good job by himself & got what I wanted. So he was listening all those times I hinted!

3. NO-Quality is so much better in my eyes!
I wouldn't change it for anything!

P.S. I work in a school & I am NOT OFF today!
So I am treating myself to this website instead of doing work this period...shhh-don't tell anyone

2. Do you REALLY like your ring?

I love love love my ring. it is radiant cut with two princess cuts on th side and all antique filigre work with pave diamonds on all sides.

3. Ok, here is the tricky part...if the Wedding Fairy came down from La-La Land and offered to make your ring BIGGER - but it would be less quality - WOULD YOU? Does size matter more to you or does the quality?

Ived tried on less quality diamonds that are bigger and they do not look as good as mine. but if the wedding fairy wants to drop some bigger diamonds into my earrings then let her LOL

1. Did you know what your ring would look like? - i had no clue, he totally impressed me with his choice

2. Do you REALLY like your ring? - yes yes yes yes yes yes

3. Ok, here is the tricky part...if the Wedding Fairy came down from La-La Land and offered to make your ring BIGGER - but it would be less quality - WOULD YOU? Does size matter more to you or does the quality? - its the quality of the ring, not the size of the stone that matters to me. plus i'm only 5'2' and less then 100 lbs, so if i had a 2 carat ring on my hand i wouldn't be able to lift my had up

1) I had an idea cause he bought the stone from my friend. But I didn't know what the setting would like.

2) I love my ring. Especially at the fact that he designed it on his own. That makes it very special to me.

3) The quality.

1. Yes I knew what it looked like! We were dating for 7 years so we looked many times!

2. I absolutely love it

3. I would never trade my sparkly ring for anything! I would totally keep the quality!

Re: Snowy Question of the Day!!!!

1- I had no clue what I was getting...I hinted around that I wanted a round stone in white gold...He did the rest

2- I could not pick a better ring out if I did it myself. The best part, my ring is one of a kind..FH custom designed it which makes it even more special to me!

3- I would not change my ring for anything in the world! Quality is so much more then the size! Everyone that sees my ring compliments on the quality, it is just so clear!

Re: Snowy Question of the Day!!!!

1. I had no clue what my ring would look like. FH threw me off very well...according to him I was getting solitare in a plain setting.

2. I LOVE MY RING....its princess cut in an antique type setting...its so different and beautiful...PLUS its from my baby

3. I would NEVER change anything about my ring...I would rather have a perfect (or near perfect diamond) and have it be small (which is what I have) than a large one that has flaws.....Like I posted in one of my first posts on LIW...someone made a comment to me about certain carat sizes not being worth anything (basically if it was less than a certain carat what was the point!!!) I say to people like that Bigger is NOT always better

Phew that still gets be going when I think about what that person said...lol

Oh I think I remember that. I think my ring is a good size for me...I honestly love all diamonds... hehehe

But now that I have it, it makes me sick to think how obsessed i was on a 'certain' size. now that i have it, i know that it means so much more than that.

But a few months ago, I would have said BIGGER rather than SPARKLIER...boy was I wrong!

1. Did you know what your ring would look like? 1-No I didnt know what my ring was going to look like. I had gotten exactly what I wanted but FH had me believing that I was going to get something different. Then again, I didnt know it was coming!

2. Do you REALLY like your ring?
Yes, I do..Love it!!!

Nope, I wouldnt change it. He actually chose a larger stone than he originally wanted to get. From a 1ct to a 1.75ct. I cant complain!!!!

.

I think alot of people are concerned about the size of the diamond they would be getting (society makes you think bigger is better hello Melania Trump 13 cts!!!)but once u get it u realize its bc its from the man u love & want to spend the rest of ur life with...u realize after... that what u wanted was ridiculous and what u got really is what you wanted...not that i have anything against diamonds big or small

1. I didn't even realize that he had a friend 'feel me out' for what I wanted - but I got exactly what I wanted.

2. LOVE IT!

3. It's all about quality baby - wouldn't take the larger size for anything!

1. No, it was a total suprise, I never told him anything.

2. YES I LOVE IT!!! It's exactly what I would have picked for myself.

3. No way, the quality of the diamond is almost perfect, and the way it sparkles in the light is breathtaking, I absolutely love it.

Pretty much. We went ring shopping together, twice. I must have tried on 100 different rings before I was sure I liked round cut the best on my finger.

2. Do you REALLY like your ring?
I LOVE everything about my ring. He also bought the matching wedding band, which I can't wait to wear.

3. Ok, here is the tricky part...if the Wedding Fairy came down from La-La Land and offered to make your ring BIGGER - but it would be less quality - WOULD YOU? Does size matter more to you or does the quality?
I wouldn't be able to stand seeing flaws in a huge diamond...so I would much rather have a smaller, more perfect stone.
