So, 214 days left and I haven't booked a florist . . . .

should I be worried?

I have no idea what I want, so how can I book a florist??? I am freaking out a bit since I just read the recent invitation thread and other brides with similar wedding dates already ordered invites and I don't even have a florist!!!!

no!!! we have time for that....but start researching if you can...it'll help. I started and met with a few people...honestly, it's harder than I imagined (probably b/c i picked such a unique CP)...but if you know what you want....then it's easy to price shop...

Don't worry. You have time. I booked with Burtons recently and it is one rate no matter what flower you pick so you can book them and not worry about what flowers you want till about a month or so before the wedding.

I got married October 1, 2004 and I didn't book a florist until April 2004.

I think I booked my Flowers like a month or 2 before the wedding. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WANTED. NO CLUE! I contacted Laurie at LA Blossom and she came to my HOUSE with her laptop with pictures on it and spent like 2 hours there. She went through every kind of flower and color you could imagine. I booked her on the spot. And she was 800.00 cheaper then the first florist I looked at. FM her. Good Luck!

Im getting married in 150 days or so and Im not stressing. If it comes to it, Ill buy roses in bulk from Sams. They are beautiful. Ill buy a few glass vases for the tables etc... Im not stressing. Flowers are beautiful no matter who does them. My family is very helpful and creative. I know we will have to do some work to them beforehand but thats quite alright... Theyve done it before.

I wouldnt stress too much. Good Luck :)

We booked our florist before our DJ and Photographer...just because I wanted to get it out of the way...but we could have waited

I'm getting married a week after you, and I don't have a florist, or invitations. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

As I see it, most florist do several weddings, so picking them isn't as crucial as picking a dj/photographer b/c if they are booked, then you're out of luck.
