so...

weddingbunny Posted:

so...

what is everybody doing at home on a Saturday night?

I'm supposed to be writing a paper... and to make it worse, FH just called to ask me to come out and meet up with him and his friends!

Talk about annoying... as if I wouldn't rather be out having fun than in writing a paper (which, by the way, I obviously am not getting very far with).

Finals time *****.

So, how about everybody else? What are you all up to?

hahahahaha - despite the fact that technically I'm home because I'm 'writing my paper' that's basically what I've been doing as well!

I almost dropped $30 on a gorgeous pair of earrings I found while looking at wedding rings...

oy, i could go on all night... I read everything!

I split my literary loves between fantasy, children's/young adult fiction, and 19th Century novels... so... let's see. To name a few:

Harry Potter, The His Dark Materials Trilogy, The Secret Garden, A Little Princess, The Chronicles of Narnia, Pride and Prejudice (and anything Jane Austen), Jane Eyre, erm... yeah... I'm currently in the middle of Lady Chatterly's Lover (DH Lawrence), and it's pretty good so far.

A lot. I'm a huge bibliophile (which is a fancy way of saying nerd). I have more books than I have bookshelves...

how about you?

I like a lot of those. i loved the narnia chronicles (though i did not like the recent movie), love harry potter, i liked little princess/secret garden when i was younger.
i read wuthering heights recently and can't say i loved it.
I'm more of an early 20th century person. i loved the bell jar, & i like michael cunningham books.

Re: so...

ok ladies, it's now 1am, and although I haven't even begun to do what I was supposed to do tonight (write my paper), I HAVE found a garter!

and once again the wedding wins out over the more important aspects of my life, like, you know, my education and my future
