So after we book our vendors... hmmm.

So we just sit back and wait? Lol. I feel like I should be doing something.

You hear horror stories about miscommunication, mistakes, wrong things, or even *gasp* vendors not showing up. Should I be keeping in contact with them or just sit back and relax until a few weeks before our wedding to go over the final details?

It's such a huge project and I feel like I'm asking for trouble by not keeping tabs.... lol. But... what else would I do?

Well usually you have different deposits to make at different points so you'll hear from them then. I think if you trust your vendors, dont even worry about horror stories!

Personally, I'm not in constant contact with my vendors. When I have questions I give them a call but I'll be contacting them again before the wedding to make my payments (if they don't contact me first) and to confirm details, times and date, etc. I have faith in all my vendors and I don't think there will be any horror stories-

well I live upstate so we were going to be sending our payments in not actually speaking with them in person. So I feel kinda out of the loop.

I do the same thing because I live in Philly. If you feel comfortable you could call in every few weeks or so just to check in.
