Okay so now being new to this i need to ask something I dunno if im getting married in 2012 or 2013 is that crazy..lol....its really b/c of money and on wednesday im going to two RH to look and get an idea of how much its going to cost but does anybody do that ...b/c i told kev that we better pick a date if we are getting married in 2012 .....so crazy but i hope im not the only one ..

you're not crazy at all .... a lot of people do that!
one thing you might want to consider is to just wait on booking until a year before your'e read to get married. You won't know your date, obviuosly, but you might get a GREAT deal (i booked 9 months before my wedding and got a great price). Of course, this could also bite you in the butt if prices end up going up. just figured i'd throw it out there
also, there are a few RHs that have package deals where you get pretty much everything (the RH, dj, and flowers) for $10k (for 100 guests only though). You could consider that

I got engaged this past June and we already knew that it was going to be a long engagement, hense the Oct 2013 date. That works for us, because of time constrants and $$$ issues. Its totally up to you when you wanna do it. We didnt see a rush, and the extra year gives us more time to save for an insanely huge bash lol.

i still dont know if wea re geting married in 2011 because we havent found a hall and are really worried about pricing. we may have to switch to spring of 2012... so damnn annoying

That's not crazy at all!
When FH and I first went looking at RH's we literally had no idea when we'd actually end up getting married. We really couldn't even narrow it down until we got prices and figured out how long it would take us to save the money.
