So angry - need to vent

I don't know why I'm so angry but I told one of my coworkers that's at a client w/ me yesterday who my fiance is (who happens to be an ex-employee of the company we work for). So he goes ahead and tells this one girl who tells another girl and tells another and now people are emailing me asking me about it. I wanted to tell people myself and due to being an auditor, i'm constantly travelling and never in the office. Now people know and I'm just angry cuz i wanted to tell them in person... but it's like, i told you to not tell anybody and then you still do???

i absolutely hate office gossip... it's the bane of my existence!

i'm sorry... vent it all out girl! and if i were you, i'd confront the girl who blabbed...

i work in a hospital its like being in high school! its amazing the rumors that go around


take it as a lesson learned...don tell anyone anything!

You know - the funny thing about all of this is that it was a GUY who told a girl who then told other girls. but regardless of gender - he should've kept his mouth shut.

YUP i know! that's why FH and i didn't tell people that we were dating the WHOLE time we were dating. I obv couldn't hide the engagement unless i wore gloves everyday

Well u will b surprise I think soem guys hide it but i think they do gossip just as much as a woman do!!

I never trust people i work with. i got burned so hard that it scorned me for life

except FH....we use to work together.

FH works with me and I'd go insane if he didn't. There is only one other coworker I trust completely!

Yea I miss my FH not working with me anymore but he'd probably be really angry with all this gossiping going on right now. We trusted one person and for 3 years...even now...this person doesnt tell anybody about us. it really is just like HS/elementary school all over again...sigh

you have every right to be mad!!! that's a huge secret you trusted him with - the nerve! ahhhh its the same everywhere
