So annoyed (Updated)

why do l need to order a specialty cake at least 2 weeks ahead of time. Dont they make them fresh
Call about 4 places and was told it is too late to order for next Thursday.
UGGHH...over it

Update: Just got off the phone with Candace and she is so sweet..FH will have his cake. I changed from a car to a DunkinDonuts cup (FH's other love)

I can't wait to see it on Thursday..I will definatley post pics.

they probably only have enough staff on hand to bake a certain amount of cakes for each day... so they are probably all booked for that date.

Thanks Ladies...I'm waiting for the manager from Dortanis to call me back.

When I called this afternoon I was told a car cake would be a lot for 25 people

So I'm have some other ideas just waiting to see if they can do it and the price.
