So FH and I went to our travel agent on Saturday to discuss booking some excursions. She was not in to it AT ALL. So we were asking her about luaus and I asked how far 2 particular luaus were from our hotel. She said she didn't know she would have to call them on Tuesday which was the next day she would be working. Mind you it was only 3:30 and it was def not time for her to leave. So the next day I start researching and I decide to do some research myself and I called both Luaus which have a working number 7 days a week. Now why couldn't she do that for me. I just sent her a nice email informing her that I called myself and we wouldn't be needing her to book any of our excursions.

I don't get it...why do people get paid for work they don't do? Its so rude! Glad you ended up finding what you wanted, but sorry the agent had to be so lazy.

That's rediculous! Your Travel Agent should have done that for you guys as that is what you hired her for. That's part of her job and part of what she is getting paid for. We are all human.. and perhaps she was having an off day? Is this the first instance?

I don't really know but we are spending a ridiculous amount on our honeymoon and she should do whatever we need whether it's a good day or bad. Oh and the luau is an hour from our hotel so she would have booked us if we never asked about the distance. FH and I want to be able to have a couple of drinks and enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about driving.

That's crazy...seems like that travel agent is still in holiday mode and not wanting to work. LOL Hope all works out for the remainder of the planning with her....
