my RSVP date is this sunday, the 20th, and I'm waiting on 40 RSVPs still (70 people)

so far we have 180 yesses, and I am hoping for no more than 220 at the wedding. Hoping that the reason alot of these people didn't RSVP is because they're not coming lol

yeah i can't believe it either, but we invited about 290 people to the wedding, so I guess only having 40 left isn't too bad

Sometimes people just forget to mail it. That's annoying though chasing down that amount of people

From speaking with my married friends...the ones that don't reply are most likely the 'No's' with a sprinkling of forgetful ones.

I had the exact problem. Most of the people were my dad's family/friends and he said to assume they aren't coming. A few RSVPs came trickling in the week or 2 after the due date but I stalked the people that I thought were coming the day they were due. And of course there RSVPs did show up. But we had about the same amount of invite (286) and there were about 40 that we didn't hear from by our due date. It's very inconsiderate. A few people lost the response card but they at least called to let us know.

Today i have to call the hall and give them final numbers. No turning back now. We LITERALLY got final answers from a couple of flaky people yesterday. It is ridiculous how inconsiderate people are!!

Honestly it's a shame when people don't even have the class to put a stamped RSVP in the mail by the due date.

I made my RSVP date later than I wanted due to some complications. I am still waiting on 46 RSVP cards, having only received 25. My date is also the 20th, so I understand your pain. Sheesh people, its not hard to send this stuff out! :(

yeah my date is the 20th too.. waiting on 59 people (about 30-something cards i think) and it's so annoying
