ur supposed to do the budget first, but in order to that i had to make a guest list first. Then from there look at reception halls (RH) that can accomadate the size of ur party. GOOD LUCK!!

First I would enjoy the moment with your new FH and families before you get consumed with all the planning. Then I would discuss a budget. The top two vendors that you should concern yourself with booking first are your ceremony location and reception hall. Good Luck

I also was a single mother to a little boy. Hes 6 now. When we got married July 05 we had him included in the vows. It went something like.. 'Anthony, will you take Gabe to be your son? Do you promise to love him, play with him etc...' It was so sweet!!

We also got him a firetruck cake to try to make him more included. He was supposed to walk me down the aisle with my dad but he decided against it last minute. Oh well.

Anyway, theres a few ideas for you.

In terms of Reception Halls etc.. Take a look at the top of this page where it says Vendors. Theres a whole list of halls. limos, florists etc...

I think theres also a site called nycweddings.com or something..

We're trying to keep the guestlist down to 200. My mother is one of 8, father one of 6... HIS father is one of 6 and mother has a few siblings... i have 47832749878272387cousins to invite AND their SO....

Suffice to say, we can NOT have a small wedding.. we're also average financially, so we have to stay within A budget. I just dont know how much people SPEND on their weddings...

I JUST WANTED TO GET ENGAGED... I didn't want to have to plan anything. haha j/k.

I LOVE the idea of including my son in our vows... we're writing our own vows anyways... but i think that would make aidan feel special.
