So bummed...

FH hates his job...and they pretty much will do anything to make him feel like crap. They have 13 people in the company...and every month, they pick 3 people for employee of the month...FH never gets picked...even though he deserves too. The owner of the company picked himself to be employee of the month! Can you believe that?

He desperately needs a new job...we've been sending out resumes for weeks now...I'd say close to 100...and not 1 phone call. I don't know what else we can do. He thinks he is going to get fired right after the wedding....

He works in the sign industry as a purchasing/project manager. If anyone has any leads or knows anyone. We live in NJ now. Thanks much.

I'm so sorry to hear this- and I can sympathize. I've been there.

Has he been following up on the resumes he sent out? No one ever calls you... you have to call them. TRUST ME ON THAT!
Follow up and ask:
- if they received it
-is there a possibility he can stop in to talk to them?
- come in for an information interview?

Looking for a job is alot of following up. It stinks but that's the way you get their interest. Get's them to pull out the resume to see who you are. Keeps you on the top of their mind.

Keep sending, it's a numbers game (plus luck and the kind help of family, friends, strangers ) at this point. As a FW just keep his spirits up, don't let him get flustered, be his #1 cheerleader...
