So bummed!

Just spoke with the methodist minister I wanted to perform our ceremony. He'll be on vacation! Anyone united methodist and have a pastor you would reccomend?

Maybe you can try asking him if he has anyone else in mind for you? Throw a little guilt trip his way...tell him you were really hoping to have him do it, but since he wont be around, at the very least maybe he can recommend someone....

He did, but he reccomended the pastor of the oceanside church who is a woman. I didn't want to sound sexist so I took her number down but I really wanted a man, just what I've always seen in my head! I know I know I know! I'm a little sexist about some things!!!

Hahaha I feel the same way. I can't take a female Rabbi/Pastor seriously. It's just odd looking and I feel convinced that everyone would be busy thinking 'umm, wow, that's weird' instead of paying attention to the ceremony.

This being said, I do hope that everything works out for you! I'm Jewish, so not much help
