A really close friend of mine is getting married 9/24. We would have been in each other's weddings, but decided against it due to our weddings being so close. I didn't make her B-party because it was in Miami and I couldn't afford it with the wedding...and she made my shower, but couldn't make my B-party with it being 2 weeks before her wedding.
Her shower was sunday and her mom just called me to tell me that they are rescheduling it....and guess for when....
The day we are leaving to go to My Bachelorette party!!!!!!
I am so bummed.....stupid Irene!

I know how you feel.. my close friend is dur to have her baby 10 days before my wedding and her pregnancy and my wedding planning combined with her living 4 hours away have kept us from enjoying any of the milestones together. It definitely sucks.

Oh man...yea that sucks!!
Same thing happened with my FSIL and her E-party during the Christmas snow storm. They offered her to reschedule she didn't and a ton of people got stuck including me and my FH. We had to leave the car and walk in the massive storm. It was terrible. So wouldn't want that for other people either.

Why dont the two of you make it a point to do a girls lunch or day out??? This way, you can kinda have your own B-parties together and have the memories...even if it's just lunch or dinner or breakfast or nails or something small???

Most of our time together is at the gym when she's not in westchester at her FH house. I can't make another date with her yet since her shower is supposed to be a surprise, so I can't say anything yet.
