so close! weekend full of checks!

So, I'm 5 days away!! This Saturday, I dragged FH all around Nassau county. We....
-picked up the seating chart at staples
-went to michaels to get a frame for said seating chart and for the unity candle holders
-went to our reverends fav restaurant and got a gift certificate
-went to the liquor store and got the bottles for our sign the wine guest 'book'
-grabbed the gift card box from my good friend, who just got married a year or so ago
-tanned (need some color for the wedding)
-AND had my hair cut/colored
-also got myself a new phone - NWR, but how productive were we??!!

Sunday, I framed the seating chart, affixed all the labels to our sign the wine bottles, and packaged all the goodies up for our final drop off tomorrow (which FH is doing, thank god!)

I'm pooped!

Congratulations on all of the checks! So impressive!! Can you share a picture of your seating chart? I'd love to see! I am considering doing a seat chart instead of traditional escort cards and would love to see.

Damnit - I just saw your post after I got to work, or I would have taken a pic of it for you. FH is bringing it to the Fox Hollow for the drop off today, but I can ask him to take a pic and send it to me. I'll try to upload today :)

I think its super cute! From EVCreations on Etsy (of course, Etsy for everything). She sends you 4 (or more) personalized wine labels, special silver or gold pens that write on the bottles, and a framed 5x7 sign that asks guests to 'sign the wine' in place of a traditional guest book. Each label has a specific anniversary year and the idea is that you open that bottle on that anny. We did anniversaries 1-5, but most people do annys 1, 5, 10, and 20. We did closer anniversaries, honestly, because wines that will still taste good 10-20 years from now would be super expensive and we just don't have a $400-500 wine budget for this.

They turned out great. the worst part, though, was getting off the old wine labels. I had to soak them in warm water with dish soap for about 3 hours and then it look about 15-20 min each to get the labels off
