FH and I are going to Hawaii for our HM. We are going to the Big Island. We are scheduled to stay at the Haupena Prince hotel. Its pretty and has a nice beach and the pool is ok.
Well dopey me looks on line today and finds the Sheraton which is nice too but has no real beach. The pool is to die for (waterslides and waterfalls).
Now I dont know which to book. Do I go with the one with the great pool and no beach or just okay pool and great beach.
The price difference is under 200. What would you guys do?
Well are you guys more beach people or pool? See my FH isnt crazy about the beach so I would go with the one with the better pool. It really depends what you guys like.

where do you think you will spend more time?? If you like the pool then go with that one but if you perfer the beach go with that. but check with the sheraton they might have a beach about 1 block away or closer. you never know.

I agree...go with what you like more. I personally woudl go with the one with the great beach....but that is just me.

it depends in beach or pool people. I have been to Hawaii and the beaches are pretty...I went to the big island and it is just so pretty....so I would rather look at the scenery beachside than poolside...

My FH isnt much of a beach person and can take it or leave it. He will come by the pool and go in it if its not crowded (lol...I dont get it either) . Me on the other hand are both a beach and pool person.

my FH would be bored out of his mind with the beach so it definitely depends on what you and FH are into. if you are both beach people, choose that one.

tough call Li....I am thinking pool..but then again you have the great views with the beach.... Well youll be surrounded by beach! Up to you!

go with the beach - public pools gross me out. always have, but my summer as a lifeguard confirmed it. you seriously don't want to know what's in there.

I worked at a YMCA for years so I know all about whats in those pools!!!

We went with the hotel with the beach. FH said that if we went with the one with the waterslide then we couldnt go for nice romantic walks on the beach. So needless to say- my decision was made.
