I had a really had time finding a church both FH and I liked and that would marry us since i am christian but not catholic and FH grew up catholic. I finally found one right near my house and near the RH. NOW i think i want to get married in the city since i want to take pics in the city anyway and then head over to queens for the RH. i feel like every other day i change my mind about something!

ur not alone.... i change my mind about lots of things. colors, cakes, u name it. if its not booked i'm constantly changing my mind.

I've changed my mind about a number of things. I had a hard time settling on my colors..kept going back and forth between two color schemes.

are you looking for a catholic church because honestly they shouldn't be giving you a problem at all. I am christian but not catholic, fh is catholic and we are getting married in a catholic church. They had no problem with it at all...The only thing they asked me is to bring my baptismal certificate and thats it. Did they say something to you?

No its just that i was never raised catholic and my parents arent catholic and my mom would probably have a heart attack if i married in a catholic church. lol and since FH isnt exactly a practicing catholic he is fine getting married in a non-catholic church. out of respect for my parents i would rather NOT get married in a catholic church. i want my day to be happy and memorable and i dont want to worry about my mom not being able to handle it. lol

oh im sorry when you said you were having problems finding a church i thought it was bc you were a non-catholic, didn't know it was for other reasons.
