Wondering if anyone else prepared for tomorrow. We put away the picnic set, took out the a/c went shopping with the masses since we won't be able to go tomorrow, put out flashlights and candles with matches and already warned my parents we're going to their place if the electric goes out for more than an hour. nothing like a lights out party!!!!!!!!!!

eh, not really doing anything to prepare for it. Its a Tropical Storm, and it may be bad for the area, but I start to get ready around a Cat 2-3 storm (grew up in florida, went to school in Miami around the time Hurricane Floyd was threatening)

yea i prepared...i bought beer and wine, I am set lol
FH and I tied down anything that we had outside, like the patio set, there is no shed or garage for us to put anything in so we had to tie it down... I am going to go to target on my coffee break this morning to pick up a card for an eparty tonight and i might just pick up a flashlight and batteries and maybe some candles just in case. FH also went and filled up the gas tank for the bbq so worst case scenario if we loose all power we can at least have something to cook on...

We took down our patio set and bought some non-perishables last night...otherwise, thats it.

Made sure I had tequila in the house.
I just hope it doesn't get really bad for two reasons.
1) my FH works for FedEx and he's out on the road until late this afternoon
2) I'm supposed to have my food tasting at Sans Souci tonight at 9pm.. something tells me I will have to reschedule it.

i haven't really prepared anything but thats because we have a ridiculous amount of candles and flashlights at my house and we are already nicely stocked with alcohol
