WE have one person who didn't give us anything and I know is not planning on giving us anything! If it were up to me they would not get a TY but DH things otherwise.
What did everyone do if they didn't recieve a gift?

The ONLY person who did not give us a gift was one of my bm's!!! And I know she has no intention of giving us anything, though she repeatedly tells me that she has the gift and card. I've seen her since the wedding and she has not given us anything, card or otherwise, so I know we won't be getting sheyat from her. But I guess we will be giving her a TY anyway.

Agreed. Just a few short sentences and that was it.

Yup, that's what I would do. You invited them to your wedding, they weren't obligated to give you a gift.

ewwww... I feel like FH's sister isn't going to give us anything bc she didn't give anything for their cousin's wedding last month.. and even though she is in the bridal party, that just irks me... how do people do that??????

Best Man - we sent him a thank you. The man wrote it.
GM - He flew out from the west coast, stayed in a hotel for a long weekend and we knew that he had no money. We sent him a thank you because he did what he could just to be with us but did end up giving up a very sweet gift 8 months later.
Co-worker of mine - Hell NO, no thank you. She quit while covering for me on my honeymoon and left my office a financial mess. She was not the 39 cents for postage.

If I got a card and no gift, yes
If they came empty handed completely, NO.

There were a bunch of people that didn't give us a gift at the wedding, and all but two have since given us a gift. One of the two I know is having severe financial issues and I truly wish would stop telling me she keeps 'forgetting' to give us our gift. The other has now shown up at 1/2 dozen family affairs empty handed. The former will get a thank-you, the latter will not.

we had a few no gifters 1 couple- I REALLY thought they forgot or something like that, so I sent a thank you almost as a reminder-said, thank you for attending our wedding ...hope you enjoyed yourselves-or something like that...NO gift-guess they didnt remember
the others- NO thank you! and they were close family members of DH

I'm planning on it for the people on my side My MOH hasn't given me a gift yet (she says she has one) but, she bent over backwards for me throughout the whole process. The others were my family from California and Hawaii. Rumor has it my aunt is sending a gift but, I haven't gotten anything yet. I figure though since they travelled east solely for my wedding, they deserve a thank you.
As for DH, one of his friends that I hadn't met until the wedding didn't give us a gift or card. DH asked him about it last month when he saw him (under the premise we may have lost it - he's got more nerve than I do) and the guy said he didn't give us anything and will be sending something. He can decide on what he's going to do about that...
