It's not really summer but I'm most likely going to Ireland in September

Moving to NY, that is my big trip this summer

We are planning a trip for our 1 year( ) anniversary but not sure where yet...probably Aruba or a cruise to Bermuda

Get OUT! Oh deary, you *must* go - the beaches, the bars, the people watching. It's all worth the traffic. Especially East Hampton and Sag Harbor.

My step mom has a house in the Hamptons, so I'm hoping to be able to 'borrow' it for a weekend.

Ooooo, I have done both and I highly recommend either one!!!

Yes!!! FH and I are going back to Greece and Italy.. We went last summer- that is where we got engaged (Italy).. We both have family there so we try to go as often as possible.

Well, I am going to Houston, but I hardly think that qualifies as 'exciting'...

Are you doing any siteseeing? Around Athens? Or have you seen it all already?

I'm not sure what type of shoe I should bring with me for siteseeing - I hear Athens is super dusty and Santorini has just under a million steps!

For Santorini, where comfy shoes. The streets are cobblestone and I made the mistake of wearing nice sandals with heels.. my feet were killing me. I actually had to stop at one of the little stores to buy flip flops! When we went sightsseeing in Athens, I wore comfy shoes also... especially if you are gonna climb up to the acropolis. The steps tend to be slippery.

I wasn't sure if flip flops would be comfortable enough on Santorini. Definitely intend on climbing the Acropolis - we have a view of it from our hotel room!!!

We stayed with FH family in Athens. In Santorini, we stayed at Santorini Palace,, I think in Oia.. The island is beautiful!!! You are sooo gonna love it.. Oh and the food!! THe gyros are sooo yummy.. Ahh I can't wait to go back!

ETS: We stayed in Fira not Oia.

Not yet, but I just got my vacation schedule yesterday, looking foward to booking something soon!

We have a view of the Acropolis from our hotel also. We're staying at the Divani Acropolis.

I swear, I'm going to come back 100lbs heavier from Greece. I've heard the food is AMAZING

Yes!! We went to a winery and did wine tasting .. it was so awesome.. We tasted wine overlooking the island. It was breathtaking. When you go, ask for a glass of Vinsanto, It is an after dinner wine.. more like a desert wine. It was so yummy... It is quite costly here in the states. I think a glass is like 20 bucks.. We bought a bottle at the winery for that much!!
