SO Embarassed
Soo I work at a BioTech company and my Dads best friend (Wayne) is my boss...he helped me get the job. Anyway..all of this week I have been helping out our Sr. Director of Global Sales with a tour he was setting up for some very important investors from Japan. When all was said and done he called me personally to thank me and tell me what a great job I did setting things up.
Well of course I went and told my dad cause it always feels good when someone important notices the work you do...
My dad went and told Wayne that the CEO of the company called me to personally thank me! (See my dad has this problem...I talk and he doesn't quite listen all the time. So he took the things he heard and filled in the blanks with CEO which would have been a WAY WAY bigger deal) So of course Wayne was sooo impressed and this morning I got an email asking me about it and acknowledging it AND he CCd HIS boss.
Now I have to write an email telling both of them that it was NOT as big a deal as my dad made it out to be and I'm going to look like SUCH an idiot!
