So last night I went out with some of my co-workers for Mexican food. Of course Margaritas were involved. I have cut out alcohol in an effort to tone up for the wedding. Long story, short, I ended up getting wasted.
I spilled a margarita in my male boss’s lap (and then tried to wipe it off). Then I invited everyone to my wedding (I was not going to invite anyone from work). And finally I started singing with the band.
Thank God, another girl got drunk as well, so I wasn’t the only one.
I love my co-workers so I am not really upset but everyone is making fun of me at work today and I feel silly.

Well, then that's a very appropriate chat avatar you have!
I'm kidding....hey, they know you were drunk, don't feel like you must invite them all now!

DON'T BE EMBARRASSED. IT SOUNDED AS IF YOU HAD A REALLY GOOD TIME. AS FAR AS THE INVITES GO, NOTHING YOU SAY WHEN YOUR DRUNK HOLDS ANY WEIGHT THE NEXT MORNING!

Re: So embarrassed
It's happened to us all.
Right out of college, I went to my department's Christmas party (which we had to pay for) and ended up doing shots with everyone. I got sick before I left and everyone was talking about me the next day....
Unfortunately, you sound like me and although you were drunk, you remember what you did (sometimes I wish I didn't remember everything).
ETA: I also dropped a whole bowl of marinara sauce on a coworker's lap at a happy hour one time (completely sober).

Re: So embarrassed
don't feel so badly. At my old office holiday party one of the brand new receptionists did a scandalous dance where she sat on the face of a partner in the law firm in front of everyone. It was KLASSAYYY. She never showed up to work again. But she was not fired. I think she was just super embarrased. It was a sight.

Re: So embarrassed
thanks for all the laughs, perfect after a long week. So you dont feel embarrassed, once i got completely drunk while out with some friends, we were sitting in a booth, i was all the way on the inside of a 6 person booth, for some reason i was drinking LI iced teas (which i never drank before and have never drank since). I threw up all over the table and everyone in my general direction!

Re: So embarrassed
That's so funny. Sounds like you had a great time though. Don't feel too bad..a few months ago I called my boss's cell phone wasted while he was away in Australia telling him 'I know you're in AFRICA right now, but I demand a raise!' ANd I went on and on for minutes my friend later told me demanding more money!'
