FH stopped by my parents house to pick up my Grandparents photos (we're putting them on the fireplace mantel at the RH).

As soon as I saw them, I started hysterically crying. I miss them all so much; I wish they were going to be there on Saturday.

Awwww i know how you feel. My aunt and mom each gave me tons of pocs of my gpa who died in 89. When i think about him not being there i get so sad.

i drove to work this morning and thought about my loved ones who wont be there in the person form, but i know that my gma willbe there in spirit..along with the rest of my passed loved ones.

I cry hysterically everytime I think that my grandma won't be at the wedding to see me getting married (I'm crying now too because of this post). It's very heartbreaking, but I also have to tell myself that she's happy to see me happy and she'll be there in some way. I'm hoping that by having her as part of my bouquet in a locket, it will be as if she's there every step of the way during the most precious moments.

I'm so sorry.

That is what I think about it too.

I was very close with my grandpa, who passed away almost 3 years ago, shortly before FH and I began officially dating. It always makes me sad to think about that they never got to meet, especially since I know my grandpa would be more excited than anyone. But I know he is looking down and smiling.

My gpa was so looking foward to the wedding and it sucks he wont be there but when we had his funeral the priest said the best thing.... he said dont think that he wont be there because he will be there and you will know he is there smiling down on you. He will never leave you in spirit. Eh ok Im tearing up but dont worry they def will be there

They will find a way to be there. Let me tell you a little story about how my nana came to my cousin's wedding....... So my cousin got married in her backyard which is a beautiful garden.(She is my wedding florist) The day of the wedding it was a miserable rainy day. my cousin was able to call some friends and get a restraunt to host the event inside last minute. Well, the ceremony still had to be outside. We waited and waited for a break in the weather to no avale. My cousin grabs my hand looks up to the sky and says, 'Hey Nana I really want you to be here today. Do you think you could give us a hand?' Sure enough 5 minutes later at the exact start time on the invite the clouds part the sun shines down and we know she is with us. my mom was a wreck after that. Anyhow, following the ceremony it began to rain all over again. Wow!

I know how you feel... my grandmother is in a home with Alzheimer and we're not bringing her to the wedding because she hardly remembers who I am... it's pretty much the worst.

Alzheimers is the worst! I'm sorry you have to go through that. My nana had it too and by the end she only knew how to chew.
