So excited...

My mom just offered to pay for all the kids to fly down to stay with her so we can go to vegas! We were starting to worry we would have to call Vegas off too because we couldnt get anyone to watch the two babies while we were gone and to pay for all these round trip tickets to Fla. to bring them to my mother would cost way too much. When I told my mom FH was thinking of calling off Vegas she offered to pay for all 4 kids(stepdaughter lives in Fla.)and me to bring kids to Florida to stay with her. She said this would be our Vegas wedding gift. She would come stay here but I live with inlaws and my mother would feel uncomfortable especially since FMIL goes out of her way to make my mother uncomfortable and even worse because we are not talking to them still(3months and counting). Anyway, yeah I can start booking everything!

I know I cant wait to tell FH when he gets home. He's been pretty bummed out about having to constantly put things off! Maybe this will have a snowball effect on good things to come. Im gonna book the hotel this week. We are getting a suite at Treasure Island! This will be our very first vacation alone too except for a drive we took to florida when we moved there for a short time. My mom has been very helpful and supportive lately which is very unlike her. We never got along when I was a kid and for the most part didnt speak(I was raised by my dad). It's nice

Just went on line to check out the fairs for Vegas and to make sure the rates for the hotel were the same Still no word from FH, I wish he would call, he's not picking up cell either I might just book the hotel tonight to lock it in and buy the tickets Thurs. to make sure we are on our way and no excuses
