So excited about my shoes!!! (long story with a happy ending and a PIC)
I knew I wanted platform shoes because I'm only 4'11'(and a 1/2 ![]()
), but I also wanted to be comfortable. Well, I have these black platform shoes that I love and wear to weddings and special occasions. Anyway, I was wearing them to my cousin's wedding this weekend and I mentioned to my mom how I love them and wish I could wear them for my wedding because I can dance all night with no pain. I have had these shoes since HS, so I didn't have any hope of finding them. My mom suggested decorating them or something so I could wear them for the wedding, but I wouldn't want to never wear them again.
Well, the brand name is Chinese Laundry, so today I just decided to see if they had a website. The site didn't have the exact shoe, but then I saw a link to vintagelaundry.com (not old shoes, but older styles). Anyway, I searched and found what looked like the same shoe, but instead of black it only comes in White Satin with a Rhinestone buckle!! Perfect for me. I chose the same size as my black shoes and ordered it right away.
I know it's different from most of the other shoes I have seen on here. Although I find them all beautiful, they just don't work for me...comfort-wise or height-wise!
Anyway...I am sooo happy to have found the shoe that's perfect for me! Let's hope that it comes in, fits well, and is as comfy as my old shoes!
