I think I basically have everything done! It's probably easier for me to write what I don't have booked. By the time our wedding comes it would have been a 2 yr engagement so we have had a lot of time to book thing.

So far we've only booked our RH, Church, and photographer. I'm meeting with a DOC this week, so hopefully will get that done by the end of the week. We're going to do our DJ within the next month or so, all three of the DJ's we're interested in are having showcases at the end of September that we're going to attend!

After that, I guess it will be on to flowers, invitations, and the dress eventually! Oh, and trying to convice FH to let us book AJ for video.

I booked everything pretty far in advanced... and then I changed almost everything LOL

I like to plan ahead
It's funny though because some things I originally picked I actually hate the way they look now.

Anyway, the dress is probably more important because that can take a lot of patience. I searched websites for a long time before I decided on my dress. I even thought I knew which one I wanted and then I changed my mind! Good thing I didn't buy it!
Especially if you are trying to get a good 'deal' on a dress, you really need to shop around.

So far, I have everything booked except the DJ and the honeymoon hotel. We have our plane tickets because we booked at this hotel originally but I canceled it because the reviews were coming back not as great as I would like.

Bridesmaid dresses: I suggest picking 3 styles and having them all vote on them. If your wedding is at night I don't recommend short dresses. You can have short, I just think that's more for daytime. Think of them in the sense of the color and shape for body type but after that- it's really what you want. If there are strong opinions, you can have 2 styles of dresses in the same color.
