...I'm referring to the fact that FH has a serious snoring problem, and it gets me sooooo angry becasue it's so obnoxious and loud and keeps me up and gives me a headache, and sometimes I find myself wanting to put a pillow over his head!!!!!!
And the breathe right strips don't work so I told him to go to the doctor and find out what can be done, but he's lazy because its not affecting him of course....He sleeps like a fat baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if anyhting can really be done about this or am I just screwed for life.

My dad used to snore SOOOO loud. He went to be tested and has sleep apnea. He has a breathing machine at night and does not snore at all. the machine is super quiet too! FH snores and i would bet he has sleep apnea.....but he is too stubborn to go and have the sleep study done.

i could have written your vent word for word. i know EXACTLY how you feel. the strips didnt work for my FH either. i sleep with ear plugs, sometimes they bother me but the alternative is me suffocating him because i get so angry lol

for some people having ur tonsils out helps... mine are huge, but i went for the sleep study and no sleep apnea...so its really just my huge tonsils...

OMG I was really trying to not sound soo angry about it but yea I get so angry sometimes I kick him and push him but he doesnt even respond!

I will get him to that sleep study and if he has to sleep with that machine that Regis talks about sleeping with, then thats what he has to do, because one night I'm gonna lose it!

ill fm you tomorrow. fh has the same problem. i am basically 100 sure he too has sleep apnea and it gets me extremely worried cuz, not to scare you but a person could stop breathing if left untreated and my fh refused to go to the doc. we have fights, like real bad fights over this. good luck with getting yours to go!!!! i really hope he listens.
mine also snores and i swear you could hear him in the next apartment. its so completely obnoxious and loud. i feel your pain

I can so relate my FH does has sleep apnea and his snoring is horrible if he sleeps at my parents house he wakes the whole house up and im not joking. On a serious note he actually fell asleep at the wheel before we met thats how bad his is. He does have the bi-pap machine which is quite. It works however FH panics in the middle of the night and removes it everyday since he feels like he is sufficating. The machine forces air into your nose. He had his sleep study done near good sam hosptial.

OMG I have the same problem, and sometimes we sleep in separate rooms cause of that!!!! Cause I can't concentrate at work the next day

Have him get tested for sleep apnea... someone I know had it and actually had to sleep with a machine to make sure he didn't stop breathing in the middle of the night. Your FH may think it's not affecting him but apparently sleep apnea can really mess with your health.

My FH snores a lot. We put on a white noise machine at night and it makes a huge difference HTH

luckily I can sleep through a natural disaster b/c fh snores too...but if i couldn't, i'd probably just try earplugs.

OMG!!! I just bought ear plugs @ CVS yesterday!!! And tried them last night....they worked WONDERS.
They are called 'Macks' pillow soft ear plugs...try them!! Only $4 My FH sounds like a Mac truck revving it;s engine when he snores.

what about that thing they advertise on tv, it kinda looks like a mouthguard? worth a try
