So FH calls me and says he lost his textbook, again....

So FH and I are taking two summer classes, and we finish up the session next Thursday (thank goodness!). The last month has been really rough, and although we are doing the classes together, they aren't exactly quality time. So he's been so cranky lately, and so have I due to lack of sleep and working our tails off.. so yesterday he calls in a panic saying we have to leave for class early 'cause he left his french book behind (again!) and he thinks it's lost (again!... 65 dollars later..)

so I drive around the block to get him, all frantic that he lost this thing, and he comes strolling down the driveway and gets in the car all smiles.... and says 'I didn't lose my book, I just couldn't wait to give you this!'.. and he hands me a box. He got me a BEAUTIFUL new watch b/c he knew mine broke a month ago. I couldn't believe it. It is a way nicer watch than I would've EVER bought for myself.. I'm a Target clearance watch shopper... my last one was $3.47 and it lasted three years So now I have to becareful with this beauty! I was so surprised.. he got me... again! What a guy.

Here it is.. simple, yet elegant~ I love it. He did a better job at picking one out that I would've... I tend to buy and then return.. often!

Yeah, I'm pretty lucky. But he doesn't spoil me with flowers or anything.. but when he does buy things, he does it clear out of the blue. For Valentines Day he had my cell phone shut off (cause he bought me a new camera phone) and I was freaking out cause I was supposed to call him when I got out of grad school, and my phone wouldn't work. I thought he was gonna kill me~ But turns out it was all his fault! He's a good egg this guy of mine...

Actually it's Skagen... I love their watches. I am totally a watch person, and I always window shop for them. But when it comes down to buying one (a nice one, not my Target specials.. hehe ) I never take the money and treat myself.
