So, for those of you who didn't read my post - my shower isn't going to be next saturday....
It was yesterday!
I was SO surprised - turns out EVERYONE was in on it - everyone - and they all worked it so that I would 'figure out' it was on Apr 29th -
Step 1:
I make an appointment with Matthew at Harborclub to go through the menu with him and my parents for Apr 29. Dad tells me he has a doo wop show to go to. I call and reschedule with Matthew for the 15th.
Step 2:
Matthew calls me to suddenly cancel the 15th. He wouldn't tell me why - I thought someone died!
Step 3:
My BM calls me to tell me she is having a surprise party for her husband Apr 29th. I'm like - AHA - so THATS whats happening... I'm so stupid...
So, I'm thinking 29th. 29th. 29th. 29th...
Yesterday, we went over to my BM's house (same as above) so say goodbye to her son before he goes back to school as we ALWAYS do.
It was a lazy rainy day. after kick boxing I showered, put on some pj pants, ate a HUGE breakfast, and worked on my paper. When it was time to go over to their house, I stopped doing my work, threw on a pair of jeans, and a big sweatshirt. no makeup - then, I thought maybe Angelo and i would go out after to get a bite, so I took off my sweatshirt and put on a small zip up sweater.
when Angelo saw what I looked like, he knew he had me fooled. Did I mention I was wearing no makeup?
I'm still clueless. even with cars parked all down the street, and some 'stranger' walking into their house as I pull up.
The first thing I think is - why does she have her silverwear out? It's just us!!! And then I noticed ALL the people... someone played the wedding theme on the piano as it sunk in...
I run into the bathroom after to put on makeup...
I want to show you my surprised pics, but they are stilll in my BM's camera and she doesn't know how to download them - I really want those, but in the meantime - the pics are all in my album - and heres a link to my 1st post about the shower!!!!
all in all - I was very surprised - I had a great time!!!
