so when i booked my RH back in Oct. 08 they told me they use 2 bakeries for the cake and that you can get basically anything you want. they said fondant cakes were included.
i just talked to them now to ask questions about the cake and appearantly now they have their own bakery and the fondant is an extra $300 ....since its not in my contract they wont give it to me free...but i didnt think it needed to be in the contract since i was told its always included!

I booked with Maureen. She said they used Francescos and Taste of Home and that it includes a lot....fondant for one.
i had emailed melanie to ask questions about the cake and Helen called me back since Melanie is on maternity leave. She said fondant isnt included and its $300. Im just annoyed bc i feel like i keep hearing different things than when we booked
oh and i guess they have their own in house bakery now.

That is very annoying!! If the original bakeries they worked with included it...they should include it. I would make a stink about it....because they should care more about you than the $300!

FH just told me not to worry that he will call and b*tch to the general manager if we have to but we will get that fondant! hahaha

That's a cr@ppy thing for them to be petty over. I've been putting off calling because I'm just dreading having them not agree to all of the things Nicole and I had discussed before she left.

ugh it's SO annoying when they change the things they quoted at the beginning...and then say, too bad it isn't in the contract!! sorry you're going through this!!!!
