so happy

me and FH been having a rough time with each other of late. fighting over nothing. but we talked on friday and since then its been so amazing. I dont want to jinx it and his happy place along with new found optimizm. but wanted to share, cause I am so very happy

he is so cute. he called me from his job just to tell me that there is this guy around our age who also wants to find some friends same as us, and FH decided to seduce him into being friends with us
its kinda funny in a very pathetic way

i hate when me and FH argue, especially over stupid things.....i'm gald ur in a happy place!!!!

And as for the friends thing...sometimes I think FH and I are the only ones whose friends are kind of falling by the wayside. I guess it's just the natural progression of things, especially now that we're trying to save money for the wedding, and therefore going out a lot less - which irritates our single friends, but our (few) married friends understand where we're coming from with this.

It's hard to find people to hang with! Good luck with the seduction!

tnx. our situation is that most of our friends are married and in the baby making business. everybody lives far, especially the ones that are in my home country. and the ones that are here, dont want to come visit us expecting us to go to them all the time
making friends is def hard when ur older. when ur a kid u make friends by just going outside, and there poof: u have a bff

I guess thats why we were arguinig so much - being together way too much. I'm sure he wants a buddy to go fishing and drinking with and not to give me his fishing pole and answering gazillion questions

I feel your pain with this one. Our single friends don't understand the concept of having to save for the wedding. It su cks when things fall apart.
