I have been wondering what to get him and couldn't think of something REAL GOOD. Well he and his friends had a trip planned to vegas in Feb, during superbowl weekend. Well yesterday he had to tell them he can't make the trip because of all the wedding related payments we have to make this month, also payments for the e-party. I felt horrible because he was so sad that he won't be able to go. So I decided last night that I would pay for the trip as my x-mas gift to him. I contacted his friends to help, and find out all the info i need from them. Wasn't sure at first if i would be able to do this. Right now I only have to pay for the flight, and they got a 2 floor suite at the mgm. But i don't have to pay for the room until the end of feb, when their cc bill comes because thats when they're all paying it.
I can't wait until x-mas now, he is going to be soooo surprised and happy. The funny part is that now he thinks i am being mean, because when he was trying to think of solutions, i told him to just forget the trip and let it go, and he shouldn't waste his money on this. The hard part will be keeping this a secret

Yeah they know not to say anything. They were real nice though, right after he told them he cant go they said how about they chip in and pay for him because it won't be the same without him. But I would rather pay for him than a bunch of people having to chip in for him. They're just happy he will go now.

I hope not lol. No i told him that i felt real bad that he can't go. But he thinks that deep down I am happy he can't go and that is why I am telling him to stop thinking of ways to go hahaha

Yeah I know I cant wait now. It is hard to keep it a secret, especially since I am afraid he'll try to come up with ways to go, so I gotta keep convincing him it is a bad idea.

Thanks alot. Yeah this is gonna be harder than I thought. I came sooo close to telling him tonight. He even jokingly said that it would be a nice x-mas gift, and I gave him a nasty look and told him he needs to get that out of his head, that I don't have the money for that right now. AHHH this will be hard to keep it up for almost 3 weeks.
