It's not 100% final yet (still waiting on 4 more people) but our final count is going to be no more than 135. Our minumum was 130! We were hoping for no more than 140 so this is so perfect! Instead of getting rid of the extra tables we may keep them and spread people out so there is more room at the tables.
I'm sick as a dog today but this news just made me jump for joy!

OMG, my FH (who lurks on here, but I love it) was just telling me about you! We have the exact same situation as far as guests go.
We paid up front for 125, we are inviting about 180, and we're hoping to max out at no more than 135. 140 at the absolute most.
We were gonna do 15 tables, with about 10 ppl, on avg, per table, but we would be more than happy to have 8 at a table with plenty of elbow room for everyone!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we wind up with our goal numbers too!

Any additional person over the 125 we paid for will have to be paid for out of the budget and we really really really dont want to have to do that....

awesome! i love when things like that work out.
We were in the same predicament, I invited 110, and didn't want to go over 95 (so we can use the remaining for vendors), and we hit 95 exactly. Couldn't have worked out any better!
