so I have a tasting at one on Sunday and I made 2 appointments for the same day just to find out FH is working and CANNOT get off. I am so livid right now!!!!!!!!
so my parents and 1 of my BM's is coming with me to the tasting and then BM is coming with me to the 2 appointments. I feel so weird. FH and I seem to have different taste in the halls too.
However my appointment with 1 of them is just to make my dad happy. He loves this place (my bro got married there) so I HAVE to look. I've had a bad experience with them on the phone the 2 times I've called just to make an appointment plus I don't want the same place as my bro plus their reputation has gone downhill so i'm basically ruling them out.
i'm having a crappy day so sorry for venting (in all my posts basically)

*hugs* vent away, thats what we are here for, to help each other stay sane (though it was a lost cause with me)
I went to all the RH visits by myself, FH was working and I was home from school and work. He trusted me to choose the top 3 then take him, but we wound up with a top one and I took him with me to sign the contract.

Fh didnt come with me to all of the halls, and it ended up that I picked our rh without him! Of course I took him there to make sure he liked it and then we signed the contract. Dont worry about it...If you find one that you really like, then take him there when he is able to come with you.

fh didn't come to any of the RH's that i visited, my mom and sister went with me to all my visits. then i bring all the information to fh and he would go over with his dad and say yes or no. when i finally said i want this hall he agreed and he and his dad came with me to look at it again and then we signed the contract

FH was with me when we looked at the RH, but I wouldn't worry about FH not being there this time around. When you find the one you like then go back again with him before committing to a final decision. I think he'll appreciate you weeding out the ones that are a definite 'no' beforehand so its not a waste of time.

FH did come with me to the RH's we visited but I know so many people that there FH couldnt come with them. At least you have people coming with you and your not alone. Once you chose something you like then you can show him.

FH went with me to all the halls... but it's absolutely fine to go to the RHs without him... if you REALLY like the one hall take him back to go sign the contract, if he doesn't like it...it's an excuse keep looking
It's OK to vent too! That's why we're all here to bounce off ideas each other and to vent to people going through the same thing!

FH came with me, but i know a bunch of people who went with their moms. its hard to schedule soemtimes so you have to do what you can.

see my whole thing is that I originally had plans Sunday (beach....my sanctuary or mini vacation shall I say...and it is much needed lol) and he made me cancel to take care of all this shiznit lol. Now he can't go. We've gone by ourselves the whole time and that's how I feel it should be!
Also, Fox Hollow is one of the places and I'm hoping that I get the serious 'Wow' factor from it. I'm actually hoping it's the one lol.
But enough wah wah wahing from me...thank you ladies :D. Your input is always appreciated

Fox hollow is FABULOUS and depending on how many people you have, the Winter Garden Pavilion is beautiful!!! (course, I am biased since thats our reception room lol)
The food is great, I have been to 2 weddings there and about to be a bridal party in a 3rd, and there is always tons and tons of food

i think its totally ok to go without your FH. especially because you will have your parents and a BM with you! if you love it you can just bring your FH back to see it!! have fun looking!!!!

Fh came with me and then I bought back my parents to make the final decision. As long as your FH is ok with it, then don't worry.
