Yes, you have to pay for a bussle - thats pretty much when they take the train and pin it to your dress so you can dance more freely.
A slip is totally up to you - I am not doing one - I feel it will be way too hot, and my dress is pretty much big enough for me not to worry about it.
For your fitting, here are your MUST HAVES: Dress (duh) Anything you plan on wearing underneath (bra, corset, undies, etc) Shoes (so they can calculate if you need a hem)
I dont think you need veil until your final fitting, so you can see everything put together.

You can pay to have a bra built into the dress if you don't want to wear one, and then you don't have to worry too much about it.

V -- you got your dress at Paradise Bridals, right? I'm pretty sure their bustles are $10 a point. My bustle was 23 points, so it was an extra $230. That's pretty rare, though...I think most bustles are 5-10points?
Not all dresses require slips (mine didn't) but if they told you that yours does, you probably want to buy one. I think Paradise sells them?

i would def make sure you need a slip...im not doing one. that may just be an extra they want to sell you to make money
a bustle is necessary though if you have a train on your dress. mine was like $10 a point and its 5 points so it wasnt crazy expensive.
if your dress is a corset top you can def have cups put into the dress instead of wearing a bra - and if you do wear a bra what they are doing for my sisters dress is somehow putting snaps or something to attach the bra to the dress so that you dont worry about keeping the bra down and the dress up all night...but that snaps allow you to re-wear the bra

w/ the panty business, the dress is so thick, you can basically wear whatever and nothing will show through your dress - esp since yours is not form fitting. i went w/ a blue just married undies from VS.

to Bustle the dress is extra money???? is this standard everywhere??
I bought a slip for $60 with crinoline cause it made the dress fall nicer at the bottom.....without it just fell flat.
i'm really shocked that bustle costs extra.

I want to shop where you're shopping! I've never heard of a bustle not costing $$. Most places either have a flat rate for alterations (xy and z included for $500) or everything is a la carte. My alterations are a la carte.

my bustle wasn't crazy expensive but it is always charged seperately. i bought a slip with my dress so that it would make it fuller on the bottom or it would fall flat. however, i overheat very easily and i was VERY hot on our wedding day. It was supposed to rain all day that day and that morning i woke up to a gorgeous (thank god!) overly warm day! that slip didn't help but it made the dress way more beautiful!

I remember the woman saying alterations were included when i bought my gown. i will flip if she says something different when i go there.
