so how do you invite SOME people from a small office?

honestly i work with about 15 people tops and i planned on 12 of them.

3 guys work in the warehouse outside in the back so i never really have contact with them but i do say hi. i've been here 2 1/2 years and its the same story. However, 1 of the guys is the bosses son.

is it rude to not invite these 3 and everyone else?

i know its up to me and yadda yadda but i want honest opinions. should i **** it up and invite them but i will put NO guest down.

Considering one is your bosses son, I would look at your budget and if you can afford another 3 (or 6 depending on the and guest situation) I would invite them.

I think you just have to do it and not worry about it. I work with 8 people and im inviting 3 out of the bunch, two managers and one co worker that i like. I have stressed from the beginning that we are having a small wedding and are on a tight budget. if they cant understand that, its their problem not mine.

I would just invite them all!- They may not even come but if one of the guys is the bosses son you should invite them all!

I work w/17 ppl and inviting 4. Only the women. I am very friendly w/them. Others I barely socialize other than at company functions, so I am sure they understand why they arent invited. Besides others got married recently (3 ppl this yr) and didnt invite to my knowledge anyone, so I am already on top lol.

I think in ur case I would invite those 3, esp that one of them is the boss's song which as I understand the boss is invited. Just as u are planning put down their name only and invite w/o a guest

i would just say invite them all since you are already inviting practically all anyway. as a courtesey invite- who knows they may not say yes you never know!

I invited bosses only and 1 other attorney in the office who we have a holiday party with. I work with an accounting firm also, but did not invite the bosses of the accounting firm or any of their staff. Also - I did not invite my one co-worker (no comment) or the other secretary.

if it's the bosses son you should invite him plus the other 2 since everyone else will be invited.

Such a tough situation, because I am going through the same thing. I guess you can just pray they don't come.

I would just invite them, i would hate to be one of the 3 and everyone else was invited.

it really is a small number i would invite them
but try and find out if they live with anyone, married , long term relationship blah blah blah
you cant expect them to leave there bitter half at home. or am i wrong on that?

There are a few people, including 1 of my immediate supervisors, that i work with that i have known from previous jobs..about 3 and i will be inviting them. I am going to mail out the invites to directly to their house. I personally really dont care if everyone else knows they were not invited. I havent known them that long and we barley speak during the day.

I had a similar situtation...if you're inviting most of the office anyway I would see if you could work it in and invite them

i think i would invite the 3...they may not even come...well maybe the bosses son....but maybe not the other two?

I WOULD JUST INVITE THEM HOPEFULLY THEY WILL DECLINE SINCE YOU DON'T KNOW THEM VERY WELL...

It's such a small number, so I would say look at the budget and see if you can afford to invite them. I'm pondering what to do with the work situation. If I'm still working at the same place next year (which could change, b/c it depends on school), I don't really know who I'm going to invite from the office. I'm close with one of the girls so def her (whether I work there or not).
