I must say mine has been relaxing (after school finished of course!). Im really just enjoying my time off until I enter the real work force hopefully in September. I am however starting to panic about FH and I not finding a job Why is nobody hiring elem teachers?!

mine summer is okk- I got a summer job working at a camp, the $$ stinks, but at least it allows me to ank my teaching salary for the wedding!!

My summer is good so far. Working and trying to plan things on the weekend for fun.
The Weather has not been that great so the hopes of working on that tan is not turning out as planned

Being that I'm not working now, and home with the baby, theres not much I can do as far as wedding planning, unless it's from home. I do alot myself some time to go tanning, because we can't do the beach with an infant. Otherwise, things are pretty good. Have to have alone time ya know!

I have to say my summer is going well and at a nice pace. I hate when the summer flys on by. I am even working a six week summer session which ends in three weeks and its still not going by too fast.
Honestly i have spoke to alot of people that are having difficulty finding elementary jobs. I think the demand has slowed down alot. Not only that, everyone wants to be a teacher these days.
Dont give up-keep trying-theres a job waiting for you somewhere.

feels like the summer is almost over. Trying to relax. Hoping fi is going to officially propose soon. He wants to take a vacation so maybe he will do it then. So hopefully by August. I need some sunny days to lose some of my ghostly white legs

The beginning of the summer started out great! Then it sucked- BIG TIME! Now it's ok. I would just like from Monday until my wedding day to be uneventful.

Mine is going ok. It's been a relatively nice paced summer. We've been doing so much stuff on the weekends though so that makes it go by a little faster. I'm in the same boat as you though as far as the job. I have a private school job now that pays like no $, and I've been looking for a public school job with no luck. Keep looking though!! I'm sure we'll all find something!!

no summer vacation for this teacher...still working full time..but the kids are great and the money is even better...so eventhough no tan~ summer is pretty good

min is awful so far! schools out for summer (NYC teacher) but working with the polo ponies seven days a week is wearing me out! i just want to sleep past 7 and relax for a few days!

So far it's been okay. The best part is I have no work!!! But I've had soooo much work for my classes (getting my Masters). I wish I was going on vacation but because of my classes I can't =(

Mine is great!!! Finally found a permanent teaching job in Sept!!!! Thank goodness!! It is so hard to find jobs in the teaching field especially on Long Island..

Athena mine is fantastic...we decided earlier this summer to move back to NY...so I cant wait for the end of august~I know thats an awful thought but I am so NY bound I cant even stand it!
Dont fret about the job...youll both get something and youll love it!

This is my first summer being a full time lawyer. It's weird b/c I went tor 19 years straight and always had a summer vacation (even if I worked for the summers, it still seemed like summer vacation). So it feels like summer hasn't begun...but it will begin after this week when I go on vacation for 2 weeks

The summer has been ok. It's going by so fast and it seems like we have something to do every weekend and no time to lie out by the pool! But FH is back from grad school for the summer, so I'm happy! If only we could get more wedding planning done...
