yeah.. although still recovering from the perm I had when I was 13

It's pretty straight-- I dry it in 10 mins with no product or brushing.. if I let it dry naturally, I have a slight wave.

well, I like a full finger tip or elbow length.. not a clue on headpiece-- depends on what happens with my hair.. My hair guy makes veils and headpieces, so I am just waiting for my first consultation with him to do all that stuff.

Cool. Does your dress have a matching veil -- was it too much veil -- I think those are all super long, right?

That's GREAT! I love that idea... we've been tossing around the idea of the after party thing too... they offer a cigar/jazz thing. Good idea to have a different dress! And..... GREAT BARGAIN!

PerfectPair: We looked at Carlyle, and their after- party seemed awesome!!! I loved the room they showed us for it. Maybe something to look at...?

Um-- I am sure it does, cause Reem usually designs veils to match her dresses.. but, the veil that matched the other dress of her's I was considering was over a grand.. so, yeah.. not getting the matching veil.

we looked too.. They do it back in the ceremony room and open a little side area.. it was cool. I have heard it is really nice from someone who went to it there.. I can check my notes if you want to know how much..

I actually think a veil/dress combo can be a bit much when they have dtailed embrodery and given the detail on your gown (which I love) I would hate to have it covered with anything. I even like the pink inset version -- and I usually (sorry Jennie) am not a pink person at all.

Yeah- usually the veil just has a trim that brings out the detail in the bodice-- I tried on a veil with gold trim with all the embrodiery on the dress was gold- and it was REALLY pretty!! I think it depends on the veil.. I want to bring out the gold in my dress- so that would be the only thing I would consider-- but, who the hell knows.. I honestly have not thought about it too much--

That's a beautiful dress and an amazing deal! Congrats. We are having an after party at the hotel and I have been keeping my eye out for a white/ivory dress as well.

That is so cute and the price was great you can't beat it.

I also wanted to change into a second dress at the reception but my ballgown dress I have a feeling I am not gonna want to take it off I want to feel like a princess as long as I can.

I hear ya.. I like the idea of it, but really for 25 bucks, plus alterations.. I know I can wear it on the HM if I don't wear it that night.. I love guilt-free shopping!!
