So I called my church...

to see if my date change works with their scheduled booking already for march 2010...i called left a message for the deacon, took him 4 days to call me back and then he tells me that he never met with us for our initial meeting and that there is NO record of our wedding being booked there!!!!!!! I told him that yes we met with him and that we are scheduled for our first foccus thing in may and he said no your not!!! UMMMMM i have signed paperwork with all the info on it and the deacon is asking me if i am sure i am calling the right church...i asked him if he could look for my folder with all the info in it and he said not right now and that I need to call back and ask someone else to help me because he doesnt have the time...

SO FRUSTRATED

Thats crazy and I have to say I'd be frustrated to. Try going there, talking to him in person, and showing him the copies you have!!

Shouldn't a religious figure have enough faith to just take your word for it that this meeting happened?

I could see how this is fustrating. Maybe you should call back and speak to the priest there...maybe he will be more helpful, but also remember this is a busy weekend at the Church being Easter and all
