I find a priest! I can't even believe I am having this problem. I have been turned down by three priests so far and I have no idea what to do now. Any suggestions? PLEASE! I am freaking out at this point.

Why are priests turning you down?
I went to the parish in which I live in (I am not a member), spoke with the pastor and booked our date. We didn't have to do anything other than provide copies of our baptismal certificates and take pre-cana classes.

Some background.... There are three priests in my parish. Two are busy and there is no way the other is going to be anywhere near me on my wedding day. So I asked two priests that I grew up with and neither of them can do it.

not sure why you are having a problem, but you may have to look into a different church. We arn't members of the church we are getting married at, all we needed were baptism certs.

Does FH belong to a different parish? Maybe one of the priests there can do it.

it's not that they are turning you down because you are a 'sinner' it's because you are unavailable... definately look into other churches. Or ask them if they can recommend a traveling preist who may be available to do your wedding at your home parish.

Id just go elsewhere....find a beautiful church and mail them a picture!
