So I contacted a makeup artist recommended by a friend
Asking if she was available for my wedding in OCTOBER and how much she would charge. Well she writes me back saying she might be booked for one of 2 weddings 08.08.08 I wrote back 'My wedding is 10/12/08 not August....' Uh, do I even bother anymore?

hmmmm...dunno...tough one...
Where did she get that date from? Maybe she confused you with someone else... Weird...maybe talk to her on the phone and see how she sounds...really a tough call...
