So I feel really stupid

We're not getting married for 1 year and nine months....BUT I feel stressed about it!! I don't understand why I am stressing so far in advance....how am I going to be when there is a month left....I hope I don't have a nervous breakdown before this wedding. I keep trying to remind myself to relax...it doesn't work all the time.

Anyone else feel this way?? (not that I want anyone to, but it would make me feel more normal!!)

I am feeling the same way...Its normal (i think...i hope...) All i do is stress about how we are going to pay for this and have somewhere to live after we get married. I fear we wont be able to afford an apartment/condo/house/whatever and will be stuck living with one of our parents...my worst nightmare!!!

Just know your not alone freaking out over all this!!

Your wedding is a big deal- so of course you're going to stress about it! We've been engaged for over a year, and I've stressed about it even when it was 3 years away!!

It's a HUGE financial commitment for one, so the money part alone is very stressful.

Also, as much as I love this site, sometimes it does add to the stress. For example: I really wanted an afternoon wedding. I wanted my flowergirls to be awake, I wanted the day time, I wanted a huge after party. Then, after reading what alot of girls write about afternoon weddings...I want an evening wedding. If I never came on this site I wouldn't even care!!!!

You just have to keep reminding yourself not to stress so much now. And yes, a month from the wedding you'll probably be freaking out like crazy -- I'm sure we all will!!

Oh Christine, you know the pros definatly outweigh the cons in this situation!

i have been getting the same feeling but it comes and goes....i go through periods of calm where i feel like i have so much time and then times when i start feeling like omg there is sooo much to do and wanna freak out!

i think its only natural because its a HUGE deal and its a lot to think about....just try not to let the stress get the best of you!

Thanks girls....I don't think my face has broken out as much in my life as it has for the past month!!

I think it's just my personality....FH thinks I'm crazy. He is calling some vendors to make appts because I think he's scared that I'm right on the edge!!

I am feeling the SAME EXACT way! You are definitely not alone!! Actually, I even thinking last night about eloping to save money and stress - even though that is not going to happen...

I was fine till I read this post. Now I have a pit in my stomach lol. But no really, I feel stressed out about it sometimes too. I still have so much to do and what's really the issue is how much everything costs. I also just found out today that starting Feb 1st my dad is gonna start charging us rent. I totally understand and would never complain about it but now that we're planning a wedding, ughhh! lol
