So I finally decided on a halloween costume!
I'm going as 'the devil wears prada' -- now I wish I could go as Miranda Priestly and that I had the wardrobe to match but sadly I don't.
I bought a really cheap -- like $3.49 -- package with sequin devil ears on a headband, a sequin bow tie and a devil tail. I also got black micro-fishnets and bright red lipstick and nail polish. If i can find or borrow a cute red dress by friday I'll wear that, otherwise I'll do a black minidress. I have black leather knee high boots (or kind of snug red and black heels).
A friend from home is coming to visit and I'm going to borrow a Prada bag from her!![]()
Maybe I'll even write out PRADA and pin it to my dress.
Too bad I'm not in NY right now (I almost came in for the weekend) -- I could have gone to Chinatown and loaded up on things with big obnoxious logos.![]()

(I'm a huge proponent for only buying authentic but if I found a big goofy tote bag with a giant obnoxious logo I don't know if I would have been able to resist)

Edit: which shoes would you wear? I attached a pic of what the red ones look like (these are similar pair from ebay) but they are kind of snug so I might have to nix the fishnets and do tights instead. (any ideas where i could get black or red opaque tights?) The black books are your typical pointy toe leather knee high boots.
