If you lie down and just concentrate really hard on breathing deeply through your nose, you'll be asleep in no time, always works for me when I'm anxious.

Hope the doctor has all the answers you're looking for... The worst part is not knowing, once you know it'll be better. Hang in there... whatever it is you can handle it.
