So I had 4 no shows at my wedding...
2 from Dh's side, 2 from mine.
DH's Aunt told us that his cousin and boyfriend were coming. We kept getting her invitation returned to us so MIL called her sister to find out.
The day OF the wedding, his Aunt played it off as if she told MIL. I believe MIL because she's very organized like that (she really is) and his Aunt has been known to be a flake with things.
On my side, 2 of my dad's cousins didn't show. I was mad at that too, and even more mad when my grandmother told me it was because they went to Nascar down in florida. That really had me upset.
Of course, this wasn't known to me until Sunday.
Well, yesterday, I get a card in the mail from my dad's nascar cousins. The envelope looks like it was returned to them because they forgot to put the apartment number on my address, and it was posted dated November 3rd apologizing for not coming with a $400 check inside.
I didn't feel so mad after that and called my parents and grandmother to not say anything, because they were going to. But still, they should have called because look what happened.
