So I had my wisdon tooth pulled this morning..... W/ UPDATE!!

And I have to say.. what a pleasurable experience that was.. not in a sexual way, but how easy it was and how personable my surgeon was and how proficient it was...

So he numbed me up and left me for like 10-15 minutes bc he had to check on another patient.. and so I was numb and listening to my Ipod..

he came back in and gave me some more novacaine and I put my Ipod back on.. BTW.. I was up for the whole process..

he took an instrament and said you may feel some pressure.. the only thing I felt was like he was just pushing on my tooth.. but no pain.. NOTHING.. he grabbed another instrament and poked around some more and said to me, the tooth is out.. I was like NO WAY?? I wasn't even half way through my Deee-light song on my Ipod and it was done.. I then proceeded to tell him that he was 'f*cking fabulous'!!!! after he stiched me up..

So, my novacaine is starting to wear off and I had some soup and tostitos (bc I couldn't resist) and took a extra strength motrin and now I am going to watch some DVD's and try to take a nap.. I will keep you posted on the pain later!!! xoxoxoxoxo

it's 6pm, and all my novacaine has worn off and I took a motrin about 5 hours ago, so that must have worn off and I am FINE.. no pain, no soreness, no swollen face.. NOTHING!!! I can't believe how painless this was!!! Yeaaaa me!!!

Sounds like one of the best wisdom tooth pulling experiences ever! Hope you dont' feel any pain once the anesthesia wears off. Keep taking that Motrin!

Wow sounds much better than when I had mine pulled. I just had tooth pain last week and I felt like I was dying LOL Keep us up to date on it!

OMG.. I really think it was.. and the doctor was a hottie too!!!!!

I also had just plain Novocain when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. I remember the Dent. asking me if I felt anything and even though I did not I kept saying yes! Next thing I know he yanked my tooth out, dropped it on my tongue (by accident), and then I stuck my tongue out with the tooth on it. Let’s just say I wish I had the laughing gas! or at least and ipod to listen too. No paint killers though! I do remember sucking on a few tea bags to relieve the pain. It works!

Sounds like it was not that bad Dayna and now it's over and done with.

Just relax today and take those happy pills

Wow I have never heard of such a pleasant wisdom tooth removable! FH had two of his impacted ones removed two years ago and had to be put out for it and was in SO much pain when he woke up. He was miserable for two days. I'm glad to hear yours went so fast and smoothly. Have a nice relaxing day!

wow sounds like a great experience! You are lucky, most are in ridiculous pain-good for you! I hope it stays that way

You must have had the top ones removed, not the bottom ones I need to get mine removed . . . I am debating whether I should do it before or after the wedding

WOW!! I have never heard of anyone saying that it is pain free!! If I ever need a wisdom tooth pulled I will be looking for that dentist

Me too! I literally prayed for death I developed a condition called dry socket so I was in pain for a week! Did I mention that I am also allergic to pain killers..the worst.

Dayna you are one lucky lady!!! I'm so happy you didn't have to go through what I did.
