so i just did my seating chart..

it took me about 30 minutes.

well i did MY side and part of FH's. I'm still missing some names of his family from Italy.. and I know FMIL already made their side... but I was iffy on some of it. I had it in my head how I want everyone.

but my mother tried making our side and I told her no.. that was a bit of a fight.. but w/e. I'm the bride, I want it a certain way- the end. and not for nothing, I think my idea of my side makes the most sense.

so..

if you had about 155 people, how many tables did you have?

we have tables upto 14.. and I think there's a total of 6-7 tables each side.

why does this # seem so low? I really thought we were looking at a lot more tables. I'm so scared its going to make the room look bare.

well ... less tables means less money spent on CPs but you could always lessen the amount of people at each table 14 is a lot

i think only ONE table is full.. the others are 11-13 people. and the one with 13, is really 12, but there's the 'maybe' in there.

It sounds fine....I am only having 9 tables plus the sweetheart one for me and FH. I am having a smaller wedding than you...I think less tables is good as you can save money on centerpieces and have less tables to 'visit' during the evening. Only have 14 to do table numbers for etc.... I have each of my tables full so I could save money.. I had two groups who wanted their own tables...(6 each..nope...I combined them into one so that was one less centerpiece...)
