I was going through my closet tonight and I noticed some mold on some of my shoes! This has NEVER happened before. It is a new apartment so I wonder if the closet is too humid and dark? Has this ever happened to anyone? I just used alcohol to clean and disinfect...

That happened to my parents, it turned out that they had a crack in the floor under the carpet and the moisture from the basement was rising up when it rained and stuff.

Yeap...has happened. You want to spray some of that athetete's foot spray stuff in your shoes...in case you missed something so you won't get it on you feet
