Oh My!! Your jaw must have dropped. If it ends up you can't find another dress you could always have someone make the dress for which would a lot cheaper. Wow! Wow! $15K is nuts. Good luck on you dress search.

Don't do it! You will probably fall in love with it & then be disappointed if u don't like other dresses better! My g/f tried on an Ines Di Santo dress (1st dress she even tried on), fell in love with it, & had to buy it....it cost her (well her dad) 12 K!! I think it's insaaaane. I mean, maybe if I was a celeb & 12 K was nothin to me....but unfortunately, that's not the case

You might be setting yourself up with this one.
Where is the appt for? Perhaps after you try on this dress and you love it you can ask them to find similiar ones or other dresses by that designer?? On the flipside.. you might try it on and realize you don't like the style. That's what happened to me!! I ended up with a dress i SOOOO thought I would NEVER have!! I literally said NO LACE!!! I thought that would be old and farty. BUT I ended up with an ALL LACE dress from top to bottom. Haha!!

I tried on a 15K. That's the only dress my FH loved loved. But for 15K, I can have the best time in Bora Bora Here is the picture

i tried on dresses all the way up to $20k....not that I would ever spend that much but just to get ideas more, it was fun and actually the more expensive the dress the least i liked it.

Personally I would not try it on unless buying it is an option. If you fall in love with the dress but cannot afford it nothing else you try on will compare.
