So I just noticed something...

The world series starts on my wedding day! I can see it now, everyone running in and out of the bridal suite checking the score....this is a disaster!

don't worry about it, seriously!

My DH is a HUGE and I mean HUGE football fan and we got married on a Sunday in Nov. not once during the entire day did anyone ask if there was a TV anywhere.

in fact, when I first saw my DH that day I was so nervous and thought I would try and crack a joke. I asked him 'so who's playing today' and he looked at me with a huge smile and said 'I don't know and I don't care'

Totally! My DH runs a football pool and we got married on a Sunday... I thought it was hilarious! I actually have a picture of one of the guys from his job checking scores while the BP is being announced... I thought it was hilarious! I have to find that pic for you...

Thats *****... I wouldn't even think about something like that...

I feel your pain. My wedding is either the last game of the season, OR the first day of playoffs (I haven't actually checked). Thing is, I'll be the one wondering how the Yankees are doing - not FH.

We are both HUGE sports fans. We are glad that April Fools Day is right before the baseball season. (Although we will miss opening day on our honeymoon) Hockey is going on, but we'll deal. The only thing that's killing me is that it's on the weekend of the Final Four. My FI says I shouldn't worry because my team wont make it. (He's such an a$$)

However, I went to a wedding last year on the Final Four weekend, and the bride's brothers brought in a mini TV to have at their reception table. They watched the game the whole time. I'm looking into getting that.

That's so sweet!! I've heard of people checking scores- if they aren't able to check the score it'd probably bother them more so I'd rather have them check and return to celebrate with us! It'll be OK!

I will have the same problem, but game 6 will be on the day of my wedding.
